DHCP Setup for Windows 7
Click the Start button and click Control Panel from the menu.
Windows 7 gives you the option to view the Control Panel in two different ciews: Category View and Classic View. Use the link on the left side of the page to switch between classic and category view.
Click on Network and Internet then on Network and Sharing Center.
Double click on Network and Sharing Center.
Click on Change Adapter Settings.
Double click on the Local Area Connection icon to bring up the status window.
Click on the Properties button.
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
Click the Properties button.
Make sure Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically are selected, unless you have an MHTC static IP.
Close all open windows, saving changes.
