Spring Sun Outages

During the spring and fall, you may notice brief television interference caused by a natural event known as “sun outages.” This occurs when the sun aligns directly behind the communication satellite that delivers signals to Earth, temporarily disrupting the signal. These interruptions are unavoidable and typically last no more than 15 minutes per day.
